A Document About The Economic Situation of Göle District

Öz
Türk Kurtuluş Savaşı son derece zor şartlar altında verilmiştir. Üstelik de bu çetin mücadele de maddi
ve mali olanaklar oldukça kısıtlıdır. Biz de Bu çalışma ile Milli Mücadelenin en önemli dönemlerin-
den 1922 yılı itibarıyla Göle Kazasının iktisadi hayatı ile ilgili olarak küçük de olsa bir tespit yap-
maya çalışacağız. Elimizdeki belge Kolordu Kumandanlığından telgraf ile, Ardahan Mutasarrıflığı
vasıtasıyla 27.04.1922 (27.IV.1338) tarihinde Göle Kaymakamı Hayri Bey’e gönderilen, kazanın 1922
yılındaki ekonomik durumu ile ilgili bilgi edinebilmek amacıyla sorulan, yedi soru ve cevabı içermek-
tedir. Söz konusu çalışmanın amacı da belgenin ışığı altında, Kurtuluş Savaşı’nın verildiği bu dönem-
de Doğu Anadolu bölgesindeki bir kazamızın iktisadi yapısı hakkında bilgi aktarılacaktır..

Abstract
Turkish Independence War was done under very hard conditions. Furthermore, the physical and finan-
cial facilities were rather limited when this struggle was conceded. With this study, we will try to make
determination about the economic life of Göle District in 1922 which was one of the most important
perion of NationalIndependence War. The document we had contains seven questions and answers
which were asked to learn the economiz situation of Göle District in 1922 by a telegram sent from
Corps Command Headquarters through Ardahan Governorship to the head of Göle District – Hayri
Bey- in 27.04.1922 (27. IV.1338). The aim of this study, under the light of this document, is to convey
information about the economic situation of a district located in East Anatolia during the period which
Indepence War was done.
